Bangladeshis have been sentenced to 25 years in jail each for the murder of another compatriot waiter in Seaford, England.
Shahadat Mollah Sohag, 21, and Mohammed Anhar, 33, were jailed on Thursday and Friday respectively for killing Anhar's cousin Ahmed Remon Hayder, 27, at his home and for burglary in Feb 2010.
Court sources said they were found guilty of murdering Ahmed Remon Hayder and sentenced to minimum 25 years of imprisonment each.
Mohammed Anhar, 33, pleaded guilty of the murder of his cousin and burglary at an earlier hearing at Lewes Crown Court on 29 April last year.
The jury heard how Anhar and Sohag had gone to steal from the flat above the Moon of India Restaurant in Sutton Park Road, Seaford, and killed Remon on Feb 1, 2010.
Remon, a British national from the Bangladeshi community, lived with his family in the flat where he died and had lived in Seaford all his life.
He worked as a waiter at the family-owned restaurant Moon of India and had been responsible for running the restaurant over the week prior to his death, while his parents were away in Bangladesh.
Detective Chief Inspector Adam Hibbert, the senior officer who led the investigation, said: "Remon was killed in his family home and his young life cruelly cut short. The scene discovered by police was extremely gruesome and distressing."
Hayder's family said: "We're relieved Sohag has been found guilty of murdering Remon and both he and Anahar will serve substantial sentences for their brutal crime which cannot be described."
Remon's brother Rahool said: "We're pleased with the sentence handed out and believe that justice has been done."
